{radio} HS7 Yamada x Chinen

111st Radio Show (OA March 2nd 2009)
Yamada Ryosuke x Chinen Yuri

HS7 UltraPower

Yamada: Good evening, this is HS7’s Yamada Ryosuke

Chinen: Good evening, this is Chinen Yuri

Yamada: Let’s introduce a short letter now

Chinen: Okay

Yamada: From Penname Yama chan Daisuki san “Good evening HS7. I’m a 6th grader who loves Yamada Ryosuke kun. I’ve been interested in pencil cases lately. My school doesn’t allow mechanical pencils so I have 10 pencils and 2 pens. How many does HS7 have?” I only have about 3

Chinen: I just thought about this. Why can’t they have mechanical pencils? When I was in primary school…

Yamada: But there are some schools like that

Chinen: What’s so bad about them? I really do think that. Umm, I couldn’t use them either at my school so I used pencils but …

Yamada: I wonder too. How many do you have in there?

Chinen: How many do I have in there? For me, I can live with 1 mechanical pencil and just keep refilling the lead.

Yamada: But do you use red, black, blue, and green?

Chinen: Ahh, me? I don’t use those

Yamada: But what about one 5 colored pen, ball point… other ball point pen and mecha… oh they can’t use mechanical pencils?

Chinen: Yeah

Yamada: Then pencils?

Chinen: Are ball point pens okay to use?

Yamada: I think ball point pens are okay. It says 2 pens

Chinen: Hmmm

Yamada: You’ll be fine with those

Chinen: Yeah and what about name pens (pens with your own name/sig stamp on the top)?

Yamada: hmm

Chinen: Those are must haves

Yamada: Well, that’s about it

Chinen: Please don’t forget those for your new term/semester

Yamada: Yup. Excuse us, then let’s

Chinen: Yup!

Yamada: Let’s start

HS7 UltraPower

Chinen: Mondays are that corner which we answer to your letters

Yamada: What kind of letters well we read? Please enjoy until the end

Yamada: YAY! Yay! It’s a corner which we have you send us various topics such as interesting happens, simple questions, or special trivia

Chinen: Yup. Let’s start introducing the letters. This? Is from penname Buzama-Shadow

Yamada: Wow Buzama-Shadow… it’s mixed

Chinen: Buzama-Shdow, how amazing

Yamada: Hmm

Chinen: Woah so cool… is it cool? Well, this is from Buzama-Shadow

Yamada: Yup

Chinen: “I’m an 8th grader who loves Ryosuke kun”

Yamada: Okay!

Chinen: “I have Mayonaka no Shadow Boy’s piano score at home so I play the piano while I listen to the CD all the time. Heart. Let’s leave that aside. I sent New Year’s greeting card twice, two of them to the same person this year” and it says “crap!”

Yamada: oh crap!

Chinen: “Does HS7 have those moments? I think Ryosuke kun and/or Chinen kun have them the most” so that means we are clumsy or so called inept by this person

Yamada: Ahh. Damn! DAMN!

Chinen: Umm, actually

Yamada: Yeah

Chinen: I don’t send things like that twice

Yamada: Me neither

Chinen: I didn’t send anyone this year

Yamada: Well, we are in a convenient generation

Chinen: I don’t think I sent “happy new years” mails either, mostly

Yamada: AHHHH

Chinen: I said “Happy new years!” to people I met

Yamada: Well, it is out of courtesy too but never twice

Chinen: No way

Yamada: to send two to the same person

Chinen: But I think Keito might

Yamada: Hmmm. Why is it me and Chinen?!

Chinen: It’s Keito for sure…

Yamada: Keito is the clumsy one

Chinen: Yeah

Yamada: Okay, next… I’ll read one

Chinen: Okay

Yamada: This is from Chiba-ken Chii-yu san “Good evening. I enjoy listening to your radio every day. I love Chinen Yuri kun”

Chinen: Ooh, Thank you very much

Yamada: “I’m a 6th grader who loves Chinen kun the most in the whole world”

Chinen: Ooh

※This might get confusing.

Yamada: “On to the details, when everyone compliments someone, they say “… (1) more than others” but in mathematical term, one is the same and numbers starts adding up when it’s twice/doubled, right? Then, why does it mean to be more than others? Please discuss this HS7” These are things people shouldn’t ask us

※Basically this girl is asking why  “人一倍/hito ichi bai/ more than others”, has “ichi/one” and why it can’t be 人二倍/hito ni bai ß inaccurate

Chinen: Yeah

Yamada: But this is a weekly thing, right? Doesn’t it sound weird if someone said “you can do twice as more than others”, isn’t this nuance weird?

Chinen: Maybe you just think that way because no one says things like that before

Yamada: Yeah

Chinen: So there’s another meaning to “more than others”?

Yamada: Ah! I know I know I know! For more than others, you change hito and ichi. It means you can do more than a person can do.

Chinen: Hmm

Yamada: It means instead of having bunch of people doing it, you have the power of those people

Chinen: Oh

Yamada: That was a good one. I think this is it!

Chinen: Genius… genius. Okay

Yamada: Maybe I am a genius. That’ was refreshing. Well, that’s about it. Please keep sending interesting happenings, questions to us, and etc.  This was H!S!Letter’s corner

Chinen: Please listen to a song for now! it’s HSJ’s

Yama-Chii: Mayonaka no Shadow Boy

MnSB ♪

Yamada: It’s already time for us to go. I just realized something from this

Chinen: What?

Yamada: That I’m actually a genius!

Chinen: And not perverted?

Yamada: I’m a genius!

Chinen: Ah, a smarty pants

Yamada: I’m a genius!

Chinen: A genius

Yamada: Ahh, why didn’t I realize this before?

Chinen: Please get overly excited by yourself

Yamada: Sorry

Chinen: We are waiting for your mails

Yamada: The address is…

Chinen: Please don’t forget to add your radio name the title of the corner

Yamada: This is it for today! Your host, HS7’s Yamada Ryosuke and

Chinen: Chinen Yuri

Yama-Chi: See you tomorrow
